1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Fable Factory (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of service

Fable Factory is a browser-based creative platform that allows users to generate images with AI, animate them into video, and edit content on a multi-track timeline. The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

3. Accounts

You may be required to sign in with a Google account to use certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account. Fable Factory is currently invite-only during beta; access may require a valid invite code.

4. User content

You retain ownership of the content you create, upload, or generate using the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

You are solely responsible for the prompts, media, and outputs you create. Do not use Fable Factory to generate illegal, harmful, infringing, hateful, sexually explicit, or deceptive content.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers.
• Use automated scripts or bots to access the Service without permission.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.

6. AI-generated content

Outputs produced by AI models are probabilistic and may not always match your prompt. We do not guarantee the quality, accuracy, or suitability of generated content for any particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing and complying with the terms of any third-party AI provider whose models you use through the Service.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fable Factory and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

10. Changes to terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
